CSA is looking forward to seeing our new and returning families and hope to continue near-normal operating conditions for Spring 2022! Should you decide to register for Spring soccer, we ask for your understanding and flexibility, as there will continue to be a chance that issues outside of our control will arise. 
PRIOR TO REGISTERING WITH CSA REC SOCCER, REVIEW THE DOCUMENTS BELOW. 
You will be required to acknowledge that you have read, understand, agree and intend to comply with these policies.

GENERAL REGISTRATION POLICIES

• IF YOUR CHILD DID NOT PLAY IN FALL 2021, YOU MUST UPLOAD A BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR PASSPORT FOR EACH CHILD DURING REGISTRATION
• OUR PROGRAMS HAVE LIMITED CAPACITY. 
•  REGISTER EARLY - REGISTRATION IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.
• ONLY COMPLETED REGISTRATIONS ARE HONORED - CHECK YOUR EMAIL RECEIPT TO VERIFY REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT.

• IF A DIVISION IS FULL, YOU CAN REGISTER YOUR CHILD TO THE WAIT LIST AT NO COST AND YOU WILL BE CONTACTED WHEN SPACE IS AVAILABLE.
• DIVISIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION IF NOT SUPPORTED BY PLAYER COUNTS OR VOLUNTEERS.
• ASSIGNMENT OF PLAYERS IS DEPENDENT ON VOLUNTEER AVAILABILITY.


SPRING 2022 PROGRAM INFORMATION: SOUTH REGION MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL

IF YOU DID NOT PLAY WITH CSA IN THE FALL 2021 SEASON:
You will be required to upload your child's proof of birth (birth certificate or passport) DURING the registration process. If you need assistance to upload the file, please email [email protected] 


At this time, we plan to continue normal operations;
 however, we cannot anticipate what changes may occur - please be sure to read all CSA policies prior to registering. 

Our program utilizes PARENT VOLUNTEER COACHES!
 
Without coaches, there will not be teams! Please consider volunteering to coach your child's team. You can volunteer during registration and we offer discounted registration!

Our programs are TEAM-BASED, OPEN ENROLLMENT programs! 
There are no tryouts or evaluations for our general recreation programs. Teams are formed based on practice night and friend requests within your age group.  

 

Season:February 28 - Mid-May
Teams Offered:Middle School (U14) Boys and Girls
High School (U19) Boys and Girls
Practice Location:McKee Road Park, 4201 McKee Road, Charlotte (MAP
Game Locations:Games are played against other soccer clubs at fields throughout the Mecklenburg/Cabarrus area.
There will be HOME AND AWAY games.
Special Considerations:Players registered for competitive soccer cannot participate in these programs. 
High School Varsity players cannot participate during their school soccer season.


 SOUTH REGION PROGRAM DETAILS 
 MIDDLE SCHOOL (U14) AND HIGH SCHOOL (U19)
Age Groups/Genders Offered
• Separate teams for boys and girls.
 
 U14: Primarily for Middle School age players in birth years 2008 & 2009 
Playing in 14U is strongly recommended for players who are in middle school. 
Players born August-December 2009 may choose to play U12. Playing in U12 should be considered for less experienced players or players who are in elementary school.
Players born in August-December 2007 may choose to play "down" to 14U. Older players that are in middle school may request permission to play in 14U - contact [email protected]

U19: High School Age Players
Birth Years 2003-2007 are eligible for U19. Older players enrolled in high school are also eligible, please contact us at [email protected]. Players born in August-December 2007 or are in middle school may choose to play U14 instead. Playing in U14 is strongly recommended for players who are in middle school.

Practice Information:
• One practice per week, at McKee Road Park, 4201 McKee Road, Charlotte (MAP).
• Practice nights available: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, OR Thursday, based on coach availability.
• Practices are generally 6:45 to 7:45 or 7:45 to 8:45 as available.
• Players are assigned to a practice night and time based on coach availability & special requests.
• You can select one "blackout" night during registration.

Game Information:
• U14/Middle School and U19/High School teams participate in the Mecklenburg Area Recreational Soccer League.
• Games are played throughout the Mecklenburg/Cabarrus area.
• A minimum of 6 games are scheduled per season on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Occasional weeknights may be needed for makeup games.
Fees and Policies
  U14/Middle School Fee: $185 per season
  U19/High School Fee: $185 per season
 
• No refunds for individual cancellations after January 31. Refunds are subject to a $25 administrative fee. 
• Volunteer to coach your child's team and receive a discount.
• Uniform is NOT included in fee. Please see below.
Uniforms: Sky Blue Shorts, Jerseys and socks. 
• Uniforms must be purchased separately if needed. Approximate cost $58 + tax and shipping.

If you have not reviewed the program information, click here and scroll down to review the 14U and U19 South Region Program Information prior to registering to be sure you are selecting the best location and program for your child. 

This program has limited capacity and may close early. If the program is full, you may register your child to the wait list. We will form additional teams if we have coaches and sufficient players!
Register early. Registration is first come-first served. Only PAID registrations are honored.
Formation of teams is dependent on sufficient parent volunteers and enrollment.

Quick facts for 14U and U19 Rec Soccer at McKee Road Park
