REMINDERS FOR SPRING 2026:
Early Bird Discount will be in effect through January 15th.
Beginning January 16th, price will increase by $20 per player.
Your player's true age division will be the same as in Fall 2025.
We do not automatically reassign players to the same team. All requests must be entered in the form during registration.
If you are interested in "playing up" in the spring season, you must contact us, even if you played up previously!

The emphasis of CSA RECREATIONAL SOCCER is on players having fun and making new friends while participating in the great sport of soccer!
We have CENTRALIZED GAME LOCATIONS. There are no games played at Palisades, Colonel Beatty Park, or Uptown/McClintock. Those are practice venues only.
Our program utilizes PARENT VOLUNTEER COACHES! Without coaches, there will not be teams! Please consider volunteering to coach your child's team. You can volunteer during registration, and we offer reimbursement of fees for the child of the head coach!
Our programs are TEAM-BASED, OPEN ENROLLMENT programs! There are no tryouts or evaluations for our general recreation programs. Teams are formed based on practice night and friend requests within your age group.

Age groups are based on YEAR OF BIRTH, not current age or grade!! Two birth years are combined in each age division as shown.
Please see our age group policy - requests to play up must be made prior to February 1 and are subject to approval and space availability.
U6 Teams (Players Born in 2020 and 2021)
Plays 3 v 3 with no goalie. 6 to 7 players per team.
U8 Teams (Players Born in 2018 & 2019)
Plays 4 v 4 with no goalie. 7 to 9 players per team.
U10 Teams (Players Born in 2016 & 2017)
Plays 7 v 7 with goalie. 10 to 13 players per team.

PRACTICE INFORMATION:
Matthews/Colonel Beatty Park Practice Location for 6U, 8U and 10U |
• Spring Season begins March 2 and ends no later than May 17.
• One practice per week at Colonel Beatty Park, 4330 Weddington Road, Matthews (MAP).
• Practice nights available: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, OR Thursday, dependent on coach availability.
• Players are assigned to a practice night and time based on coach availability & parent requests.
• You can select one "blackout" night during registration to avoid conflicts with other activities.
• Practices are 45 minutes for 6U, one hour for 8U and 10U.
• 6U and 8U practices begin at 5:30pm; 10U practices begin at 5:30pm or 6:45pm as available.
• A parent or designated adult guardian that provides transportation for the player must remain onsite at all times. Players may not be dropped off.

GAME INFORMATION
Matthews/Colonel Beatty Park Practice Location for 6U, 8U and 10U |
• Games are played at Crestdale Middle School, 940 Sam Newell Road. Matthews, NC 28015 (MAP) Backup: Colonel Beatty Park, 4330 Weddington Road, Matthews (MAP). McAlpine Elementary School, 9100 Carswell Road or nearby field if demand requires.
• 6 games minimum per season; played primarily on Saturdays between 9am and 5pm.
• Scheduled game days: March 14, March 21, March 28, April 18, April 25, May 2, May 9
• "Let Them Play" Day is April 18th
• Easter/Spring Break: April 4 - April 12 (No Games or practices)
• Rain dates if determined to be necessary: Sundays in season.
• A parent or designated adult guardian that provides transportation for the player must remain onsite at all times. Players may not be dropped off.

FEES AND POLICIES

6U: $140 per season
8U: $160 per season
10U: $170 per season

• We do our best to meet requests, but they are not guaranteed.
• Refunds are not provided due to schedule conflicts, registration errors or requests that could not be met, sorry.
• Requests for registration cancellation must be received by February 1 to be eligible for credit or refund. All cancellations are subject to $25 administrative fee. No refunds/credits for individual player registration cancellations received after February 1.
• Volunteer to coach your child's team and your player's fees will be reimbursed when the season starts. You can volunteer during the player registration process. Limit one discount per team.
• Uniform is NOT included in fee. Please see below. |
UNIFORM ORDERING INFORMATION AND REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

"HOME" UNIFORM: Yellow CSA Jersey, black shorts, and black socks
"AWAY" UNIFORM: White CSA Jersey, black shorts and black socks
• This is same uniform used for Fall 2025. This is the final season for the yellow/white jersey set.
• If you do not have this uniform kit, it must be purchased separately as follows:
Players are required to purchase the two jerseys online from Soccer.com. (One yellow jersey and one white jersey).
Players are also required to have black athletic shorts, black soccer socks, shinguards, cleats and a ball. These can be purchased at soccer.com OR any other store.
• A white CSA practice t-shirt will be provided during the first practice/game.
