The emphasis of CSA RECREATIONAL SOCCER is on players having fun and making new friends while participating in the great sport of soccer! 

We have a CENTRALIZED GAME LOCATION. There are no games played at Palisades, Colonel Beatty Park, or Uptown/McClintock. Those are practice venues only. See below for full game info. 

Our program utilizes PARENT VOLUNTEER COACHES! Without coaches, there will not be teams! Please consider volunteering to coach your child's team. You can volunteer during registration, and we offer reimbursement of the fees for the child of the head coach!

Our programs are TEAM-BASED, OPEN ENROLLMENT programs! There are no tryouts or evaluations for our general recreation programs. Teams are formed based on practice night and friend requests within your age group.

Game Days:	Saturdays in season. Game times vary 9am to 5:30pm. Sunday afternoon games are possible for make ups.

AGE GROUPS OFFERED Uptown/McClintock Middle School Practice Location

Separate teams for boys and girls. Age groups are based on YEAR OF BIRTH, not current age or grade!! Two birth years are combined in each age division as shown. PRACTICE INFORMATION Uptown/McClintock Middle School Practice Location

• Spring Season begins March 3 and ends no later than May 18. • One practice per week, Fridays 5:30pm at McClintock Middle School, 1925 Rama Road, Charlotte 28212 (MAP)  • Practices are 45 minutes for 6U, one hour for 8U and 10U. • A parent or designated adult guardian that provides transportation for the player must remain onsite at all times. GAME INFORMATION Uptown/McClintock Middle School Practice Location

• Games are played at Crestdale Middle School, 940 Sam Newell Road. Matthews, NC 28015 (MAP), Colonel Beatty Park, 4330 Weddington Road, Matthews, McAlpine Elementary School fields, 9100 Carswell Road, Charlotte, or other nearby location. • 6 games minimum per season; played primarily on Saturdays between 9am and 5pm. • Scheduled game days: March 15, 22, 29, April 5, 26, May 3, 10, 17 • Spring Break: April 12 - 20 • Rain dates: Sundays in season. • A parent or designated adult guardian that provides transportation for the player must remain onsite at all times. Players may not be dropped off.

FEES AND POLICIES Uptown/McClintock Middle School Practice Location

6U: $140 per season  8U: $160 per season 10U: $170 per season • We do our best to meet requests, but they are not guaranteed.  • Refunds are not provided due to schedule conflicts, change requests, registration errors or requests that could not be met.  • Requests for registration cancellation must be received by February 1 to be eligible for credit or refund. All cancellations are subject to $25 administrative fee. No refunds/credits for individual player registration cancellations received after February 1.  • Volunteer to coach your child's team and your player's fees will be reimbursed when the season starts. You can volunteer during the player registration process. Limit one discount per team. • Uniform is NOT included in fee and must be ordered separately if needed. Please see below.

UNIFORM ORDERING INFORMATION AND REQUIRED EQUIPMENT Uptown/McClintock Middle School Practice Location

"HOME" UNIFORM: Yellow CSA Jersey, black shorts, and black socks "AWAY" UNIFORM: White CSA Jersey, black shorts and black socks • This is same uniform used for Fall 2024 and will be used through Spring 2026. • If you do not have this uniform kit, it must be purchased separately as follows:   Players are required to purchase the two jerseys online from Soccer.com. (One yellow jersey and one white jersey).   Players are also required to have black athletic shorts, black soccer socks, shinguards, cleats and a ball. December 9	Registration Opens for Spring season on December 9th. Sign up early.  Our program has limited capacity. We will utilize wait lists when necessary to manage enrollment. Wait lists can start at any time, based on demand. You are not guaranteed a spot on a team if you are on the wait list.
February 1	Last day to request an individual refund if you choose not to participate.  Subject to administrative fees.
