The emphasis of CSA RECREATIONAL SOCCER is on players having fun and making new friends while participating in the great sport of soccer!
We have CENTRALIZED GAME LOCATIONS. There are no games played at Palisades, Colonel Beatty Park, or Uptown/McClintock. Those are practice venues only.
Our program utilizes PARENT VOLUNTEER COACHES! Without coaches, there will not be teams! Please consider volunteering to coach your child's team. You can volunteer during registration, and we offer reimbursement of the fees for the child of the head coach!
Our programs are TEAM-BASED, OPEN ENROLLMENT programs! There are no tryouts or evaluations for our general recreation programs. Teams are formed based on practice night and friend requests within your age group.

Age groups are based on YEAR OF BIRTH, not current age or grade!! Two birth years are combined in each age division as shown.
Please see our age group policy - requests to play up must be made prior to February 1 and are subject to approval and space available.

U6 (Players Born in 2019 and 2020)
Plays 3 v 3 with no goalie. 6 to 7 players per team.
U8 (Players Born in 2017 & 2018)
Plays 4 v 4 with no goalie. 7 to 9 players per team.
U10 (Players born in 2015 & 2016)
Plays 7 v 7 with goalie. 10-13 players per team.

PRACTICE INFORMATION
Palisades Program for U6, U8, U10 |
• Fall Season begins March 5 and ends no later than May 18.
• One practice per week, Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm at Harris Teeter Fields at The Palisades Soccer Complex, Charlotte 28278 (MAP)
• Practices are 45 minutes for 6U, one hour for 8U and 10U.
• A parent or designated adult guardian that provides transportation for the player must remain onsite at all times. Players may not be dropped off.

GAME INFORMATION
Palisades Program for U6, U8 and U10 |
• Games are played at McAlpine Elementary School, 9100 Carswell Lane (MAP), or other nearby fields if demand requires.
• 6 games minimum per season; played primarily on Saturdays between 9am and 5pm.
• Scheduled game days: March 15, 22, 29, April 5, 26, May 3, 10, 17
• Spring Break: April 12 - 20
• Rain dates: Sundays in season.
• A parent or designated adult guardian that provides transportation for the player must remain onsite at all times. Players may not be dropped off.

FEES AND POLICIES

6U: $140 per season
8U: $160 per season
10U; $170 per season
• We do our best to meet requests, but they are not guaranteed.
• Refunds are not provided due to schedule conflicts, change requests, registration errors or requests that could not be met.
• Requests for registration cancellation must be received by February 1 to be eligible for credit or refund. All cancellations are subject to $25 administrative fee. No refunds/credits for individual player registration cancellations received after February 1.
• Volunteer to coach your child's team and your fees will be reimbursed when the season starts. You can volunteer during the player registration process.
• Uniform is NOT included in fee. Please see below. |
UNIFORM ORDERING INFORMATION & REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Palisades Program for U6, U8 and U10 |
"HOME" UNIFORM: Yellow CSA Jersey, black shorts, and black socks
"AWAY" UNIFORM: White CSA Jersey, black shorts and black socks
• This is same uniform used for Fall 2024 and will be used through Spring 2026.
• If you do not have this uniform kit, it must be purchased separately as follows:
Players are required to purchase the two jerseys online from Soccer.com. (One yellow jersey and one white jersey).
Players are also required to have black athletic shorts, black soccer socks, shinguards, cleats and a ball. These can be purchased at soccer.com OR any other store.
• A white CSA practice t-shirt will be provided during the first practice/game.
