CSA Rec offers the KickStarters program as an alternative to our traditional U6 program. The KickStarters program will serve as an introduction to organized team soccer for our youngest players that are new to the sport and parents looking for a Saturday-only program.
If your child has played soccer previously, our regular U6 program may be a better fit!
Spring Program Updates!
Director Keith Wienke has designed a new program that will provide a fun and participatory experience for all players! We recognize that at this age, it is important that we aren't only working on soccer skills, but also on the physical aspects of player development.
For the first 30 minutes of each Saturday session, coaches will work together to lead player groups as they rotate through a variety of fun and engaging activities, games and obstacle courses that will focus on agility and balance as well as basic soccer skills. Following the activity rotations, players will split into teams to play a 30-minute soccer game.
We encourage all interested parents to volunteer to coach their child, especially if a group of players wish to be together on a team! The program will also utilize high school players as coaches, under the mentorship of our director.
Eligible ages:
Teams are Co-ed.
Separate sessions available for players born in 2020(U6) and 2021 (U5).
2021 birth year players may REQUEST to play up. This is recommended for returning players.

Sessions are outside and subject to weather cancellations. 6 sessions guaranteed. Make up dates, if needed will be Sundays in season.
Fee: $125 per player, includes a CSA t-shirt. No uniform purchase required!
Requests for registration cancellation must be received by February 1 to be eligible for credit or refund. All cancellations are subject to $25 administrative fee. No refunds/credits for individual player registration cancellations received after February 1.

Required equipment: CSA-provided KickStarters t-shirt, athletic shorts or pants, shin guards, soccer socks, cleats or sneakers. Your player will need a size 3 soccer ball. In cold weather, please dress your child in layers with the t-shirt on top!
