GAME SCHEDULE UPDATES:

We received good news from Mecklenburg County Parks and Rec and they will now allow us to play games at their facilities!
CSA Rec games for age U6 through U12 will begin September 26!

Unfortunately, we are limited to practices only at McAlpine Elementary School, so we are unable to use that facility for games until further notice. We will be utilizing McKee Road Park and Flat Branch Park for games. We hope to have the schedule for September 26 games posted on Monday. Due to the constantly changing status of field availability, we will be posting just the September 26 schedule. Thank you for your patience as we continue to adapt and adjust our plans to provide games for your children and minimize changes and confusion!

At this time, we are working to schedule games for every Saturday; however, this may change due to field availability and any weather-related cancellations.

Game Days for U6 through U12:
September 26
October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
November 7
Alternate Game Days if needed:
Sunday, October 18, Sunday, November 1, Saturday, November 14

Uniform Note: We are aware of the COVID shipping delays stated on the soccer.com website. If you are the home team, a Blue t-shirt will always be acceptable when a jersey goes missing for any reason and will not keep a child from playing. The white CSA t-shirt you receive at practice will be worn if you are the AWAY team.

Free Technical Training Sessions:
We will kick off our FREE technical training sessions next week. This is a great opportunity to get in extra skills training! We also recommend attending these sessions if your practice was cancelled.

No registration is necessary. Appropriate soccer clothing and equipment is required – as always, bring a ball and water both labeled with name and phone number.
Standard COVID Policies apply for players and spectators.

Please CLICK HERE for more information and the training schedule.

Reminder of our Game and Practice Cancellation Policies:

There is no rec weather hotline!

GENERAL WEATHER AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
If a field is closed, that means there are no practices or games at that field that day. Fields are open unless they are specifically closed. Occasionally, some fields will close while others remain open. We do not always follow the competitive field closures. Please be aware!
We will play in light rain unless there is a danger posed to the players or the fields become unplayable.

We try to make decisions and post closures by 4:30pm Monday through Friday and by 8:00am on Saturdays - so if the weather looks questionable, check back to the website at those times. Conditions may change throughout the day, so check again prior to leaving for the field.
